Ferry - Mallaig is the ideal base to explore Skye, The Knoydart Peninsular and the Small Isles of the Inner Hebrides.

There are two main ferry services operating out of Mallaig - Cal Mac going to Skye and the Small Isles, and Bruce Watt who operates the TSMV Western Isles going to Knoydart and Tarbet, Loch Nevis.

Knoydart

If you are visiting the west coast of Scotland don't go home without seeing some of our finest scenery. Only accessible by foot or by sea, Knoydart has been labelled "Scotland's last wilderness" and is home to many rare animals and seabirds- many frequently sighted from the deck of the Western Isles.

Tarbet

Tarbet is a tiny settlement on the South shore of Loch Nevis. Though nowadays hard to believe, this bay once bustled with fishing boats landing their catch. See the website timetable for more information.

For Hire - TSMV Lochan

In addition to TSMV Western Isles, we have a 38 foot, crewed vessel available for hire. See more information about a charter hire from Mallaig here.
